Phanom: Back with Nature
Phanom, Thailand, or more known as the Nakhon Phanom, is located in the North east of Thailand. This is also the city capital of the Province of Nakhon Phanom. This town alone is relatively huge with a population of almost thirty thousand. It is geographically located near the Mekong River, with a three kilometer late bordering the west side of the city. As a city in the tropical region, majority of the year is sunny and can rise up to 35 degrees Celsius. This town is highly accessible to many local tourists and foreign tourists through the Surat Thani International Airport (URT).
Best Time to Visit
Since Thailand is a tropical country, there are only rainy and sunny days in the country. Hence, it is ideal to visit the city of Phanom in December to January because the weather is not to hot like in summer and also not rain like in July. Busies time of the year are during festival season which range from January to March. Hotel rates and airfare prices are expected to increase.

Phanom, TH is surrounded by natural attractions which are well preserved. These destinations are for outdoor activities like hiking of sight-seeing. Get to explore the Tai Rom Yen National Park in the east of Surat Thani. It is a vast natural reserve with waterfalls and caves.
