Santiago Marino Caribbean International Airport with code PMV is located in Porlamar, Venezuela. The airport is about 12 km southwest of the main city of Porlamar. The city is one of the largest in Isla of Margarita which is an island in Nueva Esparta. Porlamar is the city in the southeast coast and found in 1536. The town is filled with fortress and bastions that was built in the 1680s. Porlamar is known as a quiet fishing village until the airport was built. Since then, it has become a center of tourism. It mostly supports European and Venezuelan tourists.

The airport has only one terminal. It is divided into international and domestic flights. The field has two beacons - non-directional and VOR-DME. There are also chartered services that run for about 10 years. Long haul flights have ended. Cumana is a nearby city within the airport.
