The Rodez - Aveyron Airport, also known as Rodez - Marcillac Airport, is a public airport that is situated 6.2 miles outside the city of Rodez, France. The airport, with an IATA Code of RDZ, is operated by Chambre du Commerce ET d'Industrie de Rodez. Rodez-Aveyron Airport was established in 1971. The airport has two runways, one main runway measuring 2,100 meters with an asphalt surface and a secondary runway measuring 800 meters with a grass surface type. The main runway was extended in 2003 to accommodate larger aircraft that travels to and from the Rodez, Aveyron, Millau, and other nearby cities. Along with the extension, the airport's facility was also upgraded adding a new Instrument Landing System. By 2008, the parking area was renovated to accommodate 1,000 vehicles. The following year, another extension of the airport was constructed and a new departure lounge.
