Rosario Islands: A Beachfront Haven and Marine Sanctuary
The Rosario Islands is a cluster of islands located several miles from Cartagena, on the northern coast of Colombia. The archipelago has been labeled a Natural National Park to help preserve its diverse variety of aquatic sea life and natural habitats. Best Time to Visit
In terms of the weather, there are plenty of opportune times to visit Rosario Islands, Colombia, as temperatures stay consistently warm throughout the year. The ideal period is from December to April when the weather is fairly balanced between summery warm and cool. March is the best time to visit to avoid the rush of tourists. While the whole of Cartagena hosts numerous annual festivals, their biggest event is the Carnaval de Cartagena in November.
