Rosslare Harbour: Exploring the Harbor of the Middle Peninsula
Rosslare Harbour, when translated into English, means “harbor of the Middle Peninsula” is a village that serves as a harbor developed in 1906. This was made to lessen the traffic between Great Britain and Ireland. The harbor with the same name as the city is now called Rosslare Europort. Also, the harbor is the main station of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The largest charity that saves lives at sea around the area.
Best Time to Visit
It’s best to visit during summertime, between June and August. It’s also the busiest season of the village so vacation during this time is somehow expensive. In contrast, between September and November has lesser tourist because of the weather condition. Rosslare Harbour has a long list of luxurious and affordable hotels with excellent service for tourists. Farmers Kitchen Hotel is a 3-star hotel with restaurant, bar, Childcare, and a terrace all in affordable price.
