Sam Phran: Thriving Agricultural District
Sam Phran is a district located in the province of Nakhon Pathom in Thailand. In the year 1896, the district was formally established and named Talat Mai District and was renamed in 1917. The district's current name originated from a Thai folklore meaning "three hunters". There had been several historical events that took place in Sam Phran like the worst industrial factory fire in history that happened in 1993. The factory was considered to be the largest agricultural-business firm. Nevertheless, it continued to thrive in other economical aspects and other institutional establishments.
Best Time to Visit
It is best to visit Sam Phran under warm, comfortable weather, particularly from June to August. Orchid Fest is celebrated every May and is usually venued in the district or in other neighboring cities. Sam Phran accommodations may cost more during these months.

Sam Phran boasts in its internationally competitive attractions like the Rose Garden Golf Club. It is one of the longest running and well-known golf courses in the country, displaying a beautiful and well-maintained landscape, as well as a mix of modern and traditional layout for its golf courses.
