Seneca, South Dakota: A Sleepy Town in Western South Dakota
Seneca, South Dakota, can be found along the US Route 212 in Faulk County. The 2010 census revealed only a population of 38, a steady decrease from over 300 in 1910. Seneca’s name was derived from a town in New York called Seneca Falls. There has been a post office within Seneca in 1886, but the city was only officially laid out a year after.
