Simon Bolivar International Airport, Santa Maria, Colombia (SMR) is a public airport operated by Aeropuertos de Oriente SAS, which won a concession agreement with Aerocivil. It earned an international airport status in 2007.

Named after political leader Simon Bolivar, the airport has a runway measuring 5,577-foot long. In 2018, it has served 2.03 million passengers. Lineas Aerias Nacionales SA (LANSA) inaugurated Simon Bolivar International Airport in 1949. In 2018, Viva Air Colombia announced to open a hub at the airport. The busiest routes as of 2018 are Bogota, which has served 1.29 million passengers during the year; Medellin, which has served 461,078 passengers; and Cali, which has served 107,108 passengers.
