Sterling: A Perfect Destination Year-Round
A town in Sanpete County, Sterling, UT was first surveyed in 1881. The story behind its name is quite interesting. A contest to name the town was held; and someone who lost was so pissed that he slugged the winner, staining the “sterling” reputation of the town. So, “Sterling” came into life. There are a lot of airports in Utah, and the nearest to Sterling include Manti-Ephraim Airport (NTJ), Richfield Municipal Airport (RIF), and Salina-Gunnison Airport.

People celebrate and enjoy over good car show, entertainment, food, parade, pioneer heritage reenactments, among others.
