Superior: Gateway to the Outdoors
Superior, Montana is the seat of Mineral County located in the western part of the state. Mineral County became the site for the largest gold strikes. Geographically, the town is surrounded by Mountains. It is actually found in the center of Bitterroot Range. There is also the Clark Fork River that is passing through the downtown area. There are a lot of outdoor enthusiasts who used this city as a starting point for the outdoor areas. Superior was named after the home town of its founders which is in Wisconsin.
