Siirt Airport – SXZ Siirt
Siirt Airport with code SXZ is located in Siirt, Turkey. The airport is located in the Southeastern Anatolian region and it is the only airport serving Siirt province. The majority of the population is called Kurdish. In April 2017, the airport has no flights that are scheduled. Borajet which is the sole operator in the airport has also suspended its operations. Prior to the cancellation of the operations of the service, the airport serves as a gateway to the famous city landmark called Great Mosque or Ulu Cami. Passengers served by the airport were travelers visiting the Siirt and other nearby areas.

Siirt Airport (SXZ) was served by Borajet. It has rented hangars in the airport. In 2017, the airline company has announced a temporary suspension of its operations. It has transferred its flights to Istanbul’s new international airport. Siirt Airport was only serving domestic flights when it was operational. Batman is a city that surrounds the facility.
