Taipei World Trade Center was opened to the public in 1986. This Taipei, Taiwan based structure was built to promote the city’s trade and businesses. The main goal is to have a venue that combines space for exhibits, conference areas, hotels, and offices. This is meant for international trading. Taipei World Trade Center is a complex that is located in the district of Xinyi. There are four structures within the vicinity of the center. It includes the exhibition hall, International Convention Center, Trade building, and the Grand Hyatt hotel. All of these are put together into one business area. Because of the drawbacks, the Taipei World Trade Center only saw completion in 1985 after twenty years of planning. The Exhibition Hall was opened in 1985.
