All Nippon Airways is the only aircraft offerings going to and from Tokyo per day. The airport can be able to handle aircrafts as large as Boeing 737. The airport was inaugurated in 1957. It has a runway that is 3157 ft long and 30 m wide. It was closed down in 1964.

The present-day airport was opened in 1967 by the local government. It operates from 7 am to 9 pm daily. The two-story terminal building has observation deck and meeting hall.
