Walker, Missouri: A Tiny Charming City in Western Missouris
The city of Walker, Missouri is located in Vernon County in the western section of the state. It only houses less than 300 residents within 0.31 square miles of land. The town was initially platted in 1870, following the extension of the railroad to Walker, MO. It was named after Hiram Walker, one of the early settlers in the area.
