Westmoreland: A Summer Escapade in the Caribbean Sea
The town of Westmoreland, Barbados is found in the northern section of the island country. It sits just several miles from the Caribbean Sea, making it a favorite tourist destination, especially in the summer. This then attracts numerous luxury hotels and resorts to the area.
Best Time to Visit
If you happen to be in Westmoreland by mid-January up to March, you might as well join the Open House Programme, a unique event featuring the country’s historic and architecturally stunning private properties. The weather may still be cold during this time of year, but the less frequent rain showers attract most of the tourists to the area. Expect thick crowds and packed Westmoreland, Barbados hotels by the start of December, so it is best to book in advance.
