The WestQuay Shopping Centre in Southampton, England is a shopping facility with roughly 800,000 square feet of retail space and 126 shops. Some of its popular tenants are Zara, Apple, John Lewis and Partners, and Marks and Spencer. It was opened to the public in the latter part of September 2000 after three years of construction. Thanks to its strategic site in the city center, WestQuay Shopping Centre is one of the favorite shopping destinations in the area. Apart from its spacious retail space, it has a three-story car park underneath and makes use of the centralized geothermal plant in the city center to warm up the building.
