Dalaman Airport – DLM Dalaman
The Dalaman Airport is an international airport. It is a major public airport that is located in Dalaman District, Turkey and serves the southwest Turkey area. It is one of the three airports that serve the area. Its airport code, DLM, stands for the country town and district’s name Dalaman. The construction of Dalaman airport was started in 1976, and formally opened as aerodrome in 1981. In 1989, the aerodrome got its status as an airport. The airport has an area of 6.15 million m². As of 2018, the airport has handled 4,559,246 passengers.

The DLM-Dalaman Airport has two terminals, the old and new terminals. The old terminal is used for domestic flights, while the new is used for international flights. The airport has 12 boarding gates, 8 are covered with air bridges. The terminal has a floor space of 95,000m2. The apron was redesigned to increase space to remote stands.
