Kalymnos Island National Airport is found in the island of Kalymnos, Greece and is alternatively known as Kalymnos National Airport. It is near the capital city, Pothaia. The public airport is run by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority. It was founded on August 10, 2006. Kalymnos is in the southeastern Aegean Sea and is part of the Dodecanese island chain. It is known for sponge diving and is well visited by sponge divers and other interested ones. It is also well-known for climbing.
