Rhodes International Airport – RHO
Rhodes International Airport, also known as Diagoras, is located in Paradeisi in Rhodes, Greece. It serves the island of Rhodes and is located on west side. Owned by the Greek State and operated by the German transport company Fraport Greece, the airport works under the IATA code RHO and the ICAO code LGRP Rhodes International Airport serves as the hub for Olympic Air and is the focus city for Aegean Airlines. It sits at an elevation of 19 feet above mean sea level. There is one runway, which measures 10,844 feet and has an asphalt surface. In 2018, the airport handled more than 5.5 million passengers and 38,669 aircraft movements.

The airport was opened in 1977 and it became the primary airport on the island. It was designed to be the modern facility that will take over from the old Maritsa Airport. Renovations and updates have been made since its opening, including expansion of the taxiways. A new passenger terminal was added in 2005. In 2015, Rhodes International Airport was sold to Fraport Greece, along with 15 other airports in the area. The German company now operates the airport.
