Toowoomba City Aerodrome – TWB Airport
Toowoomba City Aerodrome is a licensed and certified public airport operated by the Toowoomba Regional Council. It is located in Toowoomba, Queensland. There are no scheduled passenger services in this airport as services have been transferred to Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport on January 2015.

The history of TWB Airport dates back to 1928. It once served as a port of call for Qantas International Airline Service. Regular service occurred later on May 1928. Several services and organizations use the airport including Darling Downs Aero Club, LifeFlight, Royal Flying Doctor Service, and Toowoomba City Airport Services. The airport currently has two runways. Runway 06/24 has a grass surface measuring 2,165 feet long and runway 11/29 has an asphalt surface measuring 4,400 feet. When TWB airport was once open for passenger services, nearby towns such as Cambooya, Hampton, and Jondaryan among others used to benefit from its flight schedules.
