Yamaguchi Ube Airport is an international airport that is located in the city of Ube, Japan. It serves Ube and the neighboring areas in the Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is the westernmost airport on Honshu Island and is often used as an alternative for the Kitakyushu Airport for passengers who are flying in from Tokyo. Working under the IATA code UBJ and the ICAO code RJDC, the airport is owned by the local government and is operated by the government as well. It sits at an elevation of 15 feet above mean sea level. There is one runway, it measures 8,202 feet and has an asphalt/concrete surface. In 2015, it handled a total of 918,238 passengers.

The airport was opened in 1966 as Ube Airport. It was renamed to Yamaguchi Ube Airport in 1980. There are two terminals, one for domestic passengers and another for international passengers.
