The Aragon Entertainment Center is an entertainment venue located in Chicago, Illinois designed with Moorish architectural elements and an interior replicating a Spanish village. This venue was named after a Spanish region. Aragon became a popular attraction in Chicago in the 1940s. In the 1970s, this event venue hosted numerous rock and roll concerts, which earned Aragon the nickname “Aragon Brawlroom” due to the crowd that frequented the concerts. The venue’s theatre made an appearance in the movie Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Aside from concerts, Aragon also hosts boxing matches.
