Gallatin Field International Airport- BZN
Much commonly referred to as Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, Gallatin Field International Airport is a public airport owned by the Gallatin Airport Authority. The airport can be found in the town of Belgrade, about 13 kilometers from the northwestern side of Bozeman, Montana. BZN-Gallatin Field International Airport serves the city of Bozeman, which is the Gallatin County’s county seat, making the airport the busiest in the state in 2013. It wasn’t until 2011 when BZN was renamed to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to affiliate the airfield to the Famous Yellowstone National Park found in the state.

Gallatin Field International Airport showed a significant increase in passengers in 2013, thanks to the opening of the terminal expansion in 2011. This added three more gates and retail concessions in the terminal. As of 2018, BZN accommodated a total of 1.3 million passengers and over 90,000 aircraft operations. It is also home to over 350 aircraft, 260 of which are single-engine. Ten airlines land in BZN and offer flights to various destinations across the US. If you’re coming into the state via Gallatin Field, make sure to drop by the neighboring towns of Big Sky, West Yellowstone, and Emigrant.
