Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway celebrates and showcases Nobel Peace Prize and its ideals. It serves as an avenue for culture and politics to come together in promoting debate and involvement with big topics like conflict resolution, peace, and war. Founded in 2005, it also features the work of Nobel Peace Prize laureates and Alfred Nobel. It offers concerts, conferences, debates, exhibits, meetings, and many more.
One of the fun things to do in the area is to visit Ekebergparken Sculpture Park. It is a national heritage park that opened in 2013. At the time, it had 31 sculptures. It was completed in 2015. Tourists should also visit Tusenfryd Amusement Park. Inaugurated in 1988, it is an amusement park with one of the most innovative entrances in the world. Its entrance is an uphill escalator ride through one of the loops of the Speed Monster roller coaster. Another interesting, nearby site to visit is Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. Established by Sonja Henie, an Olympic champion in figure skating, in 1968, it holds exhibits and performances. Today, it has 6 exhibit halls, some meeting rooms, and an auditorium.
