The Centre for Alternative Technology or also known as CAT is an eco-enter built to educated people about sustainable development. This facility is located in Wales in the United Kingdom and used to focus mainly on alternative technology. However, over the years, the center has progressed into all aspects of sustainable living including renewable energy, organic farming, gardening, and sustainable architecture. Now it offers postgraduate courses as well as short courses. At the same time, the center also conducts programs for schools. The center also has an onsite shop that sells environmentally friendly products. A permanent exhibit was erected to attract more guests and includes a wide range of interactive displays.
