Excel Exhibition Centre is located in East London in Canning Town’s Custom House area. This exhibition and international convention centre. ExCel, as it is fondly called, served the 2012 Summer Olympics. Having capacities of about 4000 to 6000 individuals, its five sports halls were used for fencing, wrestling, boxing, judo, weightlifting, table tennis, and taekwondo. Aside from being a popular boxing venue, ExCel also hosts the annual Virgin Active London Triathlon.
